In the document, alternate formats, such as text descriptions, lists, data tables, and tactile graphics are explored. Tactile graphic examples, such as charts, graphs, maps, and illustrations, are also highlighted. Recorded audio, sonifications, scalable vector graphics (SVGs), EPUB formats, 3D printing, and haptic technology are also explored as alternative formats.
