Deaf People and Educational Attainment in the United States

This resource, from the National Deaf Center on Postsecondary Outcomes, provides a report and video that explore data on educational attainment in the United States for Deaf individuals. The 16-page report was created by Carrie Lou Garberoglio, Jeffrey Levi Palmer, Stephanie Cawthon, and Adam Sales. In the report, key findings, data, and a research methodology on educational attainment in higher education for Deaf students in the United States are highlighted. In the video, statistics on educational attainment in higher education for the Deaf population, including those who are hard-of-hearing, oral, late-deafened, and have varying hearing losses are explored. The video recording runs 8:10 minutes in length.
