Everyone gets excited about #EmploymenFirst but what does it really mean for those of us already committed in the field of disability and employment? This session will talk about the two sides of the Employment First issue: disability services and workforce development. Participants will engage in discussion around how we talk about the idea of employment as the preferred option with individuals with disabilities, families, school personnel and other professionals in the disability field. This webinar will also look at examples of collaborations with employers and discuss how to engage businesses to make employment a viable option for everyone.
