Where the Assistive Technology Community Meets to…Network, Learn and Share

Over the past 23 years, ATIA has been a community gathering for assistive technology practitioners, teachers, parents and caregivers, persons with disabilities and more to learn, network and share on the best in assistive technology. 

The ATIA 2023 Conference will offer multiple flexible registration options — including in-person and virtual — allowing you to select the package that works best for you and your teams.

Do you, your child or your grand-child want to play video games with friends, but are unable to because of a physical, visual, or other structural barrier? In this part two of Video Game Access, you'll learn about devices, software, and accessibility features specific to gaming with PS5/Ps4. By the end of the workshop, you will be able to identify tools and features that will you or your loved one to play games with friends.

Good advocacy skills help parents obtain the supports their children need. Learn skills to ensure that IEP members truly hear your perspective, take you seriously, and know that you understand the IEP process and your rights.

60 years ago, at LDA’s very first conference, Dr. Samuel Kirk coined the term “learning disabilities,” which would spark a national movement for progress for individuals with learning disabilities, including legislation, programs, services, and funding for LD research.

Ever since, LDA is proud to offer annual conferences that aim to raise awareness about LD, and provide individuals, educators, families, and professionals with the latest information in learning disability topics.
