The National Federation of the Blind National Convention is the largest gathering of blind people in the world. It is the premier event for training, support, and information for the blind community. It also serves as a governing body, democratically electing the leadership and establishing each year's organizational priorities. 

The international conference will foster the exchange of multi-disciplinary scientific information applicable to audiologists, physicians, speech pathologists, psychologists, scientists, engineers, educators, students, advocates, and others involved in cochlear and other implantation technology globally. Come together with fellow educators and leaders in the field to learn more about advocacy and meet with your representatives to share what's really happening in the field of special education. Hill visits will take place in person on Tuesday, July 16th, subject to the in-person policies of Congressional offices.

AHEAD is excited to announce its 47th annual conference, Equity & Excellence: Access in Higher Education. Approximately 1500 presenters and participants from diverse fields, including education, technology, law, scholarship, and government, will gather in Baltimore in July, and they hope to see you there!

The Northeast ADA Center has been producing and testing a unique animated school cartoon series intended for elementary-aged children that is designed to educate the next generation about disability inclusion. The videos, along with a companion curriculum, is intended to assist parents and educators to engage children in conversations and in learning about people with disabilities and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA.) The webinar will address the development, challenges, and testing of the cartoons and curriculum. It will share how the cartoons are made and give participants tips on how they can access and use this valuable resource.

NCIL is excited to announce their 2024 Annual Conference on Independent Living! The theme of this year’s conference is Back to the Future. With this theme, they invite everyone to revisit their foundational values and look to a future that embraces disability justice – loving all bodies and leaving no one behind.

NCIL’s Annual Conference is designed to provide peer support, organizing, advocacy, and learning opportunities. It is the largest Independent Living event of the year. This year, for the first time, CAST’s Annual Symposium and the UDL-IRN Summit are joining forces to create the world’s largest International UDL Convention. CAST is excited to bring together these two events to develop and explore how UDL can be used around the world to break down barriers to learning. 

This year’s UDL-Con: International will be held online and in-person at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento.
