Accessibility Laws: Section 504, IDEA, and ADA

This webpage, made available by the National Deaf Center on Postsecondary Outcomes, features a 1-page resource that provides an overview of Section 504 of the 1973 Rehabilitation Act, the 1975 Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, and the 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act. These laws, enacted in the United States, "work together to protect children and adults with disabilities from exclusion, discrimination, and unequal treatment in education, employment, and the community." The resource is available in both English and Spanish.
