UDL for Teachers

This website, made available by UDL for Teachers, provides information for teachers on applying universal design in their classrooms in order to make their teaching more accessible. The website feature three introductory videos with the following titles: An Introduction to Universal Design, Case Studies in Universal Design, Case Studies in Universal Design, and Navigating UDLforTeachers.com.

The rest of the website is divided into three main Universal Design for Learning Guidelines Principles: Representation, Action and Expression, and Engagement.

Principle I: Representation features the following three videos: UDL Guideline One: Options for Perception; UDL Guideline Two: Options for Language, Symbols, and Mathematical Expressions; and UDL Guideline Three: Options for Comprehension.

Principle II: Action and Expression features the following three videos: UDL Guideline Four: Options for Physical Action; UDL Guideline Five: Provide Options for Expression and Communication; and UDL Guideline Six: Provide Options for Executive Function.

Principle III: Engagement features the following three videos: UDL Guideline Seven: Provide Options for Recruiting Interest; UDL Guideline Eight: Provide Options for Sustaining Effort and Persistence; and UDL Guideline Nine: Provide Options for Self-Regulation.
