ASLCORE

This website provides information about the ASLCORE Project. This project develops new ASL signs for advanced discipline-related terminology. These signs are intended to "serve as suggestions for how to sign concepts and vocabulary." The signs are developed by deaf content experts and translators who are fluent in American Sign Language.

The signs are divided into the following branches: architecture, art, biology, computer science, engineering, literature, organic chemistry, philosophy, physics, and sustainability. Each branch includes a video overview and sign entries. Branches include a team of ASL translators, contributors, and interpreter consultants. Entries include a video of the sign and may include a written description.
