Trace Research and Development Center: Photosensitive Epilepsy Analysis Tool

The Photosensitive Epilepsy Analysis Tool (PEAT) was created by the Trace Research and Development Center to identify if animations, video, web content and software may contain sequences that risk provoking a seizure. The tool can detect common seizure triggers, including three general flashes or three red flashes within a one-second period, or extended flashes. This tool cannot be used for assessing any commercially produced material used for television broadcast, film, home entertainment, or gaming. This tool is available free for download.
