Antiracism and Universal Design for Learning: Building Expressways to Success

This webinar, provided by CAST, features a conversation with author Andratesha Fritzgerald on antiracism and universal design learning in the classroom. Featuring passages from her book, Antiracism and Universal Design for Learning: Building Expressways to Success, Fritzgerald discusses the challenges Black and Brown children experience in education, and the importance of honoring them to create a safe and secure learning environment. Fritzgerald shares stories and experiences implementing UDL guidelines, and encourages educators to continue on their journey of antiracism in the classroom and to "empower the learner to be in charge their own learning." This video recording runs for 58:40 minutes.
