Accessible Learning Across the Lifespan: Introduction to Accessibility

This video, provided by the Described and Captioned Media Program, is the first in a four-part series titled Accessible Learning Across the Lifespan. The series is dedicated to guiding instructional, website, and program designers in proactively creating accessible learning and work environments for individuals with disabilities. Throughout the video, the presenters provide an introduction to the series followed by a discussion on the meaning of accessibility. Emphasized are perspectives from a diverse range of individuals who benefit from accessibility features, each sharing personal insights into what accessibility means to them and how impactful it can be in both workplace and classroom settings. The video also features a special focus on changing the work environment to remove accessibility barriers, accompanied by practical tips.
